Scott McGregor will leave the barbers’s chair at the Waterside Festival Marketplace on Mar 14 needing a hat to keep his shaved head warm! Scott is a repeat participant in the annual St Baldrick’s event.

The Irish American Society (IAS) of Tidewater is sponsoring Scott’s efforts in support of the heroic struggles of children with cancer by providing a matching donation for all donations given by IAS members.

The IAS is also participating in the March fundraising effort for Virginia Beach Cancer Foundation. Kathleen Myrick, a long time IAS member and breast cancer survivor is leading this joint program with the IAS.

Your IAS is supporting Scott’s and Kathleen’s efforts by matching IAS member donations to both charities. Donations  will be accepted at the March 5th meeting and the Finnegan's Wake, March 7th.

Please contact our Financial Secretary or President if you would like to donate.
Donations are also accepted by the : Irish American Society of Tidewater
